The Corvette E-Ray has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Corvette’s optional Rear Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side, helping the driver avoid collisions. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

Both the Corvette and the 12Cilindri have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems and available blind spot warning systems.

Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty covers the Corvette 2 years longer than Ferrari covers the 12Cilindri. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the 12Cilindri ends after only 3 years.

The Corvette’s corrosion warranty is 3 years longer than the 12Cilindri’s (6 vs. 3 years).

There are over 64 times as many Chevrolet dealers as there are Ferrari dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Corvette’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Corvette third among compact premium sporty cars in their 2024 Initial Quality Study. The 12Cilindri isn’t in the top three in its category.

The Corvette E-Ray’s standard 6.2 V8 hybrid produces 92 lbs.-ft. more torque (592 vs. 500) than the 12Cilindri’s 6.5 DOHC V12.The Corvette ZR1’s standard 5.5 turbo V8 produces 245 more horsepower (1064 vs. 819) and 328 lbs.-ft. more torque (828 vs. 500) than the 12Cilindri’s 6.5 DOHC V12.

Regenerative brakes improve the Corvette E-Ray’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Corvette has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

All wheel drive, available in the Corvette, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari 12Cilindri is not available with all wheel drive.

The Corvette’s standard 305/30R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the 12Cilindri’s 35 series tires. The Corvette Z06/E-Ray/ZR1’s 275/30R20 front and 345/25R21 rear tires have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile than the 12Cilindri’s 35 series tires.

The Corvette has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the Corvette can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For better maneuverability, the Corvette with Magnetic Ride Control’s turning circle is 2.7 feet tighter than the 12Cilindri’s (36.4 feet vs. 39.1 feet). The Corvette’s turning circle is 1 foot tighter than the 12Cilindri’s (38.1 feet vs. 39.1 feet).

The Chevrolet Corvette may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 50 to 450 pounds less than the Ferrari 12Cilindri.

The Corvette is 4 inches shorter than the 12Cilindri, making the Corvette easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Corvette uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Corvette Coupe has a much larger trunk than the 12Cilindri Coupe (12.6 vs. 9.5 cubic feet).

The Corvette Convertible has a much larger trunk with its top down than the 12Cilindri Spider (12.6 vs. 7.1 cubic feet).

The Corvette has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Corvette offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, tachometer, turn signal and navigation instruction readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The 12Cilindri doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

The Corvette’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The 12Cilindri’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The Corvette’s standard sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. Visors that swivel front-to-side cost extra on the 12Cilindri.

The Corvette’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The 12Cilindri’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.
